The Victor Chandler Chase is one of the youngest Steeple Chase events on the British Jump Racing scene. Originally, the race was supposed to premier in 1987; however, the weather would not permit the race to be run and the Victor Chandler Chase ended up making its first appearance in 1988. The race was sponsored by Victor Chandler from the get-go and is referred to it exclusively by the sponsorship name, although the Victor Chandler Chase is currently ed under the official title of the Clarence House Chase. 6u2f5v
